1. Istanbul AND Athens 2. An overnight in Yalta, Ukraine If there is a weakness to cruising, it's that you often miss the nightlife in cities renowned for it, a chance to truly marinate in the culture without feeling rushed back to the boat. There is just way too much to see in a day or even one overnight in this historic city. 3. Docking at nearly every port. This can never be guaranteed (weather and traffic conditions), but Azamara plans on docking, rather than tendering, at most of these ports. Being a smaller ship gives us the advantage here, and docking means easier, totally-at-your-convenience disembarkation and boarding without waiting for tenders. (Tenders are planned for Nessebur (Bulgaria) and Mykonos (Greece). 4. Informal dining. Leave the dinner jackets and gowns at home! (Actually, Azamara does request "resort attire" in dining room and discourages jeans, tank tops, bare feet. And tuxedos are always welcome, just never required.) 5. Dine anytime! Anywhere! No set reservations. There are seven different choices each evening (including in your stateroom). Eat when you want, where you want, every day. 6. The price is right. Azamara is a huge step above the Premium market at only about $700 pp extra for so much more (including the 10 points here: no other Premium line offers all of them). Azamara's only competition in the Deluxe market is $1000 to $2000 more per person. And the Luxury lines are almost twice the price 7. No crowds! Only 694 passengers. That's 30% to 50% fewer than other Premium or Luxury cruise lines, yet you'll never feel there are fewer facilities for your enjoyment. And with 350 staff, it's one of the highest service ratios on the seas. 8. Perfect length. Adding a day or two in advance to get there, and a day or two in Istanbul and Athens pre- and post-, and you have a perfect two-week vacation. Or perhaps you'd like to spend three or four days in Paris or Prague before the cruise - perfect! Nine days is truly the most flexible. 9. Two Days at Sea! Other Black Sea itineraries are jam-packed with ports - which is great for a while, but then you just want to sit back and enjoy the ship itself. This itinerary offers you two consecutive days of that unparalleled experience just as you leave the Black Sea and sail into the Greek Islands at the conclusion of your cruise. 10. Great Group of Friends! Each participant in our group is personally invited by Rog and Jim - and you'll love our friends as much as we are thrilled to have you meet each other! 11. Just look at the ship! If you are not already convinced, just click this link: You see, there were more reasons than would fit in a Top Ten list! Extraordinary Opportunity for an Exclusive Group.
