Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest have been designed to navigate into smaller, more remote ports of call, giving guests the opportunity to see life at its most exotic and authentic. Guests are invited to become part the local fabric of life instead of merely observing it.

Azamara's shore and land excursions offer experienced travelers a way to step off the beaten path and absorb a destination's culture and history. From crystalline glaciers and plummeting waterfalls to cliff tops and pink flamingos, the sights and sounds of Azamara's excursions bring breathtakingly unique
glimpses of our world to our guests.

The two ships will each feature an onboard "excursion expert," who will not only help guests select shore excursions based on their personal interests, but also serve as a destination guide, offering information about the culture and history of each port of call.

Impeccable Service
Onboard Azamara Cruises there are no unimportant details to be overlooked. Even the most minute aspect of each voyage has been carefully considered - every amenity and luxurious nuance is delivered to ensure that the experience resonates.

Guests sailing with Azamara will enjoy a more exclusive guest experience. Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest offer 15 variations of accommodations, all featuring butler service as well as concierge-style amenities, including fresh-cut flowers, fresh fruit, Elemis toiletries, complimentary use of Frette cotton robes, two complimentary pairs of plush slippers, plasma TVs, European bedding, a pillow menu, shoeshine service, a complimentary tote bag, and complimentary stationery and pen.

Guests staying in suites will receive a bottle of champagne in their stateroom at embarkation. Suite guests also receive two nights of complimentary dining in the specialty restaurants (guests in staterooms will receive one night of complimentary dining). Other amenities specific to guests staying in suites include in-room DVD players and the ability to enjoy movies free of charge from the ship's library; silk hangers and drawer liners upon request; and the ability to book certain spa services to take place in the privacy of their suite.

Sumptuous Dining
Each meal onboard Azamara Cruises promises to be a voyage unto itself, with nightly culinary artistry inspired by the world's most accomplished chefs and by the bountiful regions through which each itinerary travels. To further enhance the experience, vintages from an extensive wine list will be offered to complement each dish.

Sesame-seared yellowfin tuna steak with tamarind stir-fried Asian vegetables, jasmine rice and a sake soy-wasabi reduction.sacher torte with apricot coulis.and that's just the main dining restaurant, Discoveries. Despite the ships' smaller size, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest each feature two specialty restaurants. Prime C is an authentic steak and seafood restaurant. Aqualina pairs regional, multi-course Mediterranean-style menus with wine menus.

The ships, which will not require formal attire for dining, also feature open seating in the main dining room. Additional dining options onboard include Windows Café, which offers casual dining during the day, and in the evenings becomes casual dining with a twist; 24-hour room service and a sushi café.

Global Travelers
With a mere 700 passengers per sailing, each Azamara voyage allows guests to share these thoroughly in-depth, indulgent experiences with an intimate community of like-minded travelers.

Delightful Indulgences
Both ships feature a wine bar, which offers wine and champagne tastings, seminars, and mini-pairings of food and wine, in addition to its standard menu of fine wines by the glass or bottle.

Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest will offer an enhanced emphasis on spa and relaxation. Guests in suites will be able to enjoy certain spa services in the privacy of their room. The ships will also offer an outdoor spa relaxation lounge and an aesthetics suite offering acupuncture, laser hair removal and microdermabrasion.

The retail experience onboard Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest will focus on fine art, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and resort wear.

Children's Programming
For the majority of the Azamara Journey Bermuda season (the 5/19 - 8/25 sailings) , we will have Youth Staff onboard and a full X-Club Youth Program. The activities will closely mirror what would have been offered on Zenith, however there is not a dedicated venue/facility. Post Bermuda, Azamara Cruises will no longer offer any formal children's programming or have Youth Staff onboard. On port days, shore excursions deemed "easy" may be more suitable for families with children. Additionally, we will be offering rentals of Sony PSP (Portable PlayStation) units.
